MAYORAL HOPEFUL SPEAKS TO QUEENS LIBERTARIANS

Potential NYC Libertarian Party Mayoral candidate Kristin Davis will address the Queens Libertarian Party at their annual convention this Saturday, January 12, 2012 at 10:30am VFW Post 4787, 19-12 149th Street, Whitestone, NY.

Kristin Davis, the former Manhattan Madam, who supplied prostitutes for Eliot Spitzer, was convicted for promoting prostitution and served four months on Rikers Island. Since her arrest and motivated by the inequities in our criminal justice system, Davis has become one of New York City’s most vocal Libertarian activists and ran for Governor of New York State in 2010 on a Libertarian platform of decriminalizing marijuana, gay marriage equality and legalizing casino gambling.

At this Saturday’s convention, it is anticipated that the Queens Libertarian Party will give Davis their early endorsement as their candidate for the 2013 NYC Mayoral Race.

What Is A Libertarian?

Libertarians believe in, and pursue, personal freedom while maintaining personal responsibility.

Libertarians strongly oppose any government interfering in their personal, family and business decisions. Essentially, we believe all Americans should be free to live their lives and pursue their interests as they see fit as long as they do no harm to another.

In a nutshell, we are advocates for a smaller government, lower taxes and more freedom.
