DAVIS FOR MAYOR IN 2013
Ron Paul is right when he says there has been a steady erosion in our civil liberties. There is no better example in New York City then the New York City Police Department’s “Stop & Frisk” policy. I agree wholeheartedly with New York State Senator Eric Adams, both an African American and a veteran NYPD Captain, that the law is being disproportionately used against African Americans, Hispanics, and other minorities.
Not only is New York City’s “Stop & Frisk” policy racist, it is also in my opinion unconstitutional. The US Constitution clearly prohibits “unreasonable search” of a US Citizen. One might argue that searching those boarding an Airplane where the state has a responsibility for the safety for all those aboard is “reasonable”. That’s not the same as stopping a black person on the street because you don’t like the way they are dressed or the color of their skin.
As Governor Gary Johnson, Libertarian Presidential Contender, has said in his opposition to The Patriot Act there is a steady erosion of our civil liberties, which must be stopped. Ron Paul has described is a “slippery slope”.
I may run for Mayor as The Libertarian Party Candidate in 2013 in opposition to these “Stop & Frisk” policies. You can email me at Kristin@libertarianlady.net to tell me whether or not you think I should run.

I do not even know how I ended up here, but I thought this post was great. I do not know who you are but certainly you are going to a famous blogger if you aren’t already
Cheers!
